HYSG-4SILICAGEL wide porous, beige, beads

Silica gel, water-resistant, hard spheres.SG-4 beige protects other adsorbents from water vapour or liquid water. It can be reactivated without significantly impairing the efficiency.SG-4 beige is therefore very economical, easy to dispose and without any known adverse effects on the environment.

Applications         
Due to its water-resistance SG-4 beige has a multitude

of uses

Dynamic adsorption (= removal of water from a  continuously flowing gas or liquid stream)

Static adsorption (= removal of moisture and control of

humidity in packaging and other enclosed spaces without induced air flow).

SG-4 beige is frequently used as protective layer in combination with silica gel, molecular sieves or other adsorbents for increasing the reliability of the adsorption system.

The temperature at reactivation should not exceed 200°C.

Packing             
Airtight in 20 kg cartons with PE-Inliner,Airtight in 500 kg bulk bags with PE-Inliner.

Handling           
SG-4 must always be kept in airtight containers to avoid pre-adsorption with water vapour. Face masks should be used at continual exposure to extensive dusting.
